The HCA is DeltaCore’s high-end system for desalinization based on the principle of osmosis membranes. In the last 20 years this technology has significantly improved insofar that with lower pressure we can produce more water. The filters are also more resistant, and only need low chemical agents for cleaning. However, the main problem is still the energy needed to run the system.
To run any desalinisation process one requires a significant amount of energy due to the need to create a high pressure environment. With the use of various Energy Recovery systems, the consumption of energy is decreased, but it is still not enough to produce drinking water only from renewable energy sources.
DELTACORE’s SOLUTION
Currently we are in process of getting all required patents for a technology that will allow us to produce a system which will be able to purify salt water into clean drinking water. We are using a combination of various compatible systems which will work exclusively using solar power. The system is designed to be able to provide clean drinking water by using only solar power.
The system is also built in such a way that it requires very little maintenance. Furthermore, the system will also be able to remineralize drinking water to specific requirements.
The basic system has a capacity to provide 5000 liters of drinking water per day. The HCA is perfect for any location near oceans and seas, or anywhere where there is lack of drinking water and limited power energy sources.
